Getting Here
Flying
Playa Hermosa is located just north of the town of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Costa Rica has two major International Airports, San Jose (SJO) and Liberia to the North. There is a domestic airport located in Cobano which is 30 minutes from Casa Nalu. From San Jose there are domestic flights daily to and from Cobano to SJO Airport. The flight takes about 20 minutes and is more like a tour. There are a few local domestic airlines however we prefer to fly with www.costaricagreenairways.com.
Driving
Playa Hermosa de Puntarenas, Costa Rica
Playa Hermosa is a little off the beaten path making it unique. If driving from San Jose you will drive to Puntareanas take the ferry then drive to Malpais/Santa Teresa. Its a 5 hour trip, 1.5 hours on the ferry. From Liberia is a 5 hour drive.
